Meet the newest addition to la familia -- Café (yes, as in coffee, named by Wilder) -- a 10-wk-old, female, chocolate husky mix. How could we resist? She is as sweet and smart as Phoebe, and also came from Lucky Bug, so she had equally great beginnings. We had no idea this is what Santa had in store for us, but we're having a blast having a new baby in the house!
The other day Wilder declared Café cuter than anyone else in the family, including himself. Aside from Wilder, Phoebe is, by far, the most excited member of the family. She's finally got a playmate! But when she needs her space, she needs her space. . . . As does Café, who is constantly trying to escape Wilder's tough love. Of course, he constantly wants to wake her, pick her up by the neck, carry her, manipulate her limbs, throw her across the bed . . . Is this what it's like having a second child?!
